Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design, development, and deployment of advanced software for warehouse automation. You will architect scalable systems that integrate with warehouse control systems (WCS), warehouse integration systems (WIS), and warehouse management systems (WMS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in C, C++, JavaScript within Linux (RHEL) server environments
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Git version control
• Knowledge of database design with Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Frontend familiarity with Qt or Angular
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of software for material handling systems
• Architect scalable, high-performance software integrating with WCS/WIS/WMS
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements and roadmaps
