AT&T is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design and enhance cloud-native platform capabilities for enterprise teams using Kubernetes-based platforms. You will collaborate with developers, security, and architecture partners to reduce delivery friction and standardize containerized environments.

The role emphasizes platform modernization, automation, and secure software delivery, with a focus on DevOps practices, Helm, and Terraform. Hybrid onsite locations across multiple hubs are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise software using Java.
• Advanced Bash scripting and Linux internals.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, AKS preferred.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and Helm charts.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and container security.
• Experience with Terraform and cloud automation.
• Proven ability to work in Agile Jira environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support container-based platform solutions.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes platform capabilities and automation.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for secure, scalable deployments.
• Create Helm charts and deployment templates.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve onboarding and self-service.
• Implement security practices across Kubernetes and containers.
