JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Software Engineering Manager in New York to lead a skilled team of engineers within Consumer and Community Banking’s Connected Commerce group. You will guide design, delivery, and operations of scalable, secure solutions on AWS, with emphasis on robust API development and data-driven decision making.

Competenze

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• 8+ years demonstrated experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability in large corporate environments.
• Proven leadership in managing technology projects and teams, with hands-on experience in Java (Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API), source code management (Git, Maven), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience managing varying levels of Software Engineers.
• Extensive experience with event-driven messaging and streaming technologies (Kafka) and both NoSQL / Relational databases.
• Expertise in architecting and delivering highly scalable, resilient, and stable systems on public cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience with monitoring and tracing tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Postman).
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, application resiliency, and security best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and draw insights from complex data sets.
• Experience in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and contributing to system architecture and technical decision-making.

• Provide strategic leadership and daily guidance to a team of 5-8 software engineers setting clear expectations for output, practices, and collaboration
• Oversee the design, development, and delivery of software solutions aligned with requirements and compliance
• Anticipate and manage dependencies across teams to deliver products and applications efficiently
• Lead technical troubleshooting, applying advanced problem-solving to resolve complex issues and drive stability
• Ensure secure, high-quality code development across languages and modern frameworks

• Architect and deliver scalable, resilient systems on AWS
• Oversee the complete API lifecycle from planning to decommissioning
• Drive automation and continuous delivery across SDLC toolchain
• Analyze large datasets to inform decision-making and improve security and stability
• Lead evaluation sessions with stakeholders and promote adoption of leading-edge technologies
