Honeywell Aerosapce is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for a team developing high-quality software for aerospace products. You will guide architecture decisions, drive core software development, and ensure performance and security standards across flight-management related solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, advanced OO/C++ skills, and expertise in Agile or Scrum processes to deliver robust software for demanding aerospace

• Designing and developing high-quality Core Software architecture and applications.
• Integrating Flight Management software for new product development.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.

• Testing and Integration on test benches in labs.
• Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in software development.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development.
• Strong C++ or Object-oriented programming skills.
• Comprehensive experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Strong software architecture and design development skills.

• Strong understanding of OOAD approach and concepts.
• Software development lifecycle experience per DO-178C.
