• Experience with AWS, its core services and security features.
• Experience with big data technologies, including Apache Spark.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Experience as a software engineer,with a track record of leading complex projects and engineering teams to successful delivery.
• Experience in building large-scale platforms,with deep knowledge of data quality, observability, and entitlement management to ensure robust, secure, and reliable solutions.
• Expertise in modern programming languagessuch as Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with the AWS platform,including its core services, architecture best practices, and security features.
• Experience with big data technologies,including Apache Spark, for large-scale data processing and analytics.
• Expertise in building data-driven applications,ideally within finance, banking, or related domains, with an understanding of financial planning and analysis workflows.
• Experience collaborating with other platform teamsto design and build common, reusable frameworks that drive standardization and enable wider adoption across the organization.
• Passion for solving complex problemsand delivering impactful, scalable solutions that drive business value.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills,with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and engage with stakeholders across the organization.
