Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to help build cloud-hosted public safety solutions used by first responders across the United States. You will lead design, architecture, and coding efforts while remaining deeply involved in development to deliver reliable software.

You will mentor engineers, drive scalable systems in AWS, and ensure code quality, testing, and operational reliability across the full software lifecycle.

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Participate across the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and support.
• Promote continuous improvement in tools, processes, and engineering standards.
