Mastercard is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (C/C++) to join the global credit card authorization team. You will design, implement and review high‑assurance software, lead feature development, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with product management and other leads.
You will develop in C/C++ on Linux, participate in CI/CD automation, drive quality gates, and contribute to architecture decisions for distributed real-time systems in an Agile environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Mastercard on the global credit card authorization team. The system facilitates billions of transactions among issuers, acquirers, and service providers. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
