Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Leadership) with a TS/SCI clearance to oversee the administrative services domain of a large-scale, globally distributed platform.

You will own control plane services, admin interfaces, user/role management, authentication, and lifecycle management, coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable operations from Chantilly, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. 4+ years may substitute for degree.
• 10+ years of software eng/analytics platform experience, including 4+ years leading a major service area or team.
• Strong experience designing/administering control-plane services for complex distributed systems.
• Experience with user/role management, authentication/authorization, admin UI/UX, install/upgrade/lifecycle orchestration, device management.

Responsibilities

• Own the administrative services portfolio for a globally distributed software platform, including control plane, admin UI, user/role admin, auth, and lifecycle management.
• Define and maintain architecture and delivery roadmap for admin capabilities across environments.
• Lead development of admin UX for multiple user classes including system admins, operators, support teams and regional managers.
• Own platform-level user management patterns: provisioning, RBAC, permissions, delegated administration, secure workflows.
• Oversee integration and lifecycle management of peripherals and device middleware (drivers, SDKs, vendor APIs).
• Serve as the primary technical lead for vendor engagement related to device and middleware certification.
