Virtusa is seeking an experienced data engineer to design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines for large-scale data integration and transformation across on-prem and cloud environments. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions and ensure reliability.

The role emphasizes Oracle and Snowflake, Python-based data processing, advanced SQL, and DBT, with collaboration across data architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure data quality,

Qualificações

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, data integration, or database development.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, Snowflake, DBT.
• Strong Python programming skills for scalable data solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills, including query development, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of ETL principles and data integration patterns.
• Data quality, validation, and automated testing/monitoring experience.
• Collaborating with data architects and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• AI skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

Develop and Optimize solutions leveraging Oracle and Snowflake

Write, maintain, optimize SQL Queries , Python based data processing solutions

Ensure data accuracy, consistency , integrity, and timeliness across data workflows and platforms

Ensure data quality, validation, and integrity through automated testing and monitoring frameworks.

10 + years of relevant experience in data engineering , ETL Development, data integration , or database development

Strong Hands - on experience with Oracle , Snowflake , DBT

Strong Python programming skills with the ability to develop scalable and maintenable solutions

Advance SQL Skills , including query development , performance tuning, and optimization

Strong understanding of ETL principles, data integration patterns, and relational databases concepts

Strong AI skills prefered
