Job summary

The Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs seeks a SOCIAL WORK SERVICES PROGRAM MANAGER (LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER) to lead social services for state veterans' homes. The incumbent reports to the Veterans' Home Administrator and develops policies, oversees case management, and coordinates psychosocial care.

This managerial role emphasizes assessment, treatment planning, training, and interdepartmental collaboration to maintain high occupancy and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.
• Bachelor's degree in social work from CSWE-accredited program.
• Three years of professional social work experience (MSW can substitute).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate computing skills.
• Exemplary documentation and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Successful completion of background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social services policies and procedures.
• Manage case management, counseling, and follow-up services.
• Coordinate and oversee the social services department.
• Provide training on psychosocial intervention strategies.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments upon admission and annually.
• Lead care planning meetings and participate in interdisciplinary teams.
