Job summary

Clio is seeking a Manager, Legal Architecture, SMB to build and lead a team of six former lawyers who bring legal credibility to our SMB sales motion. This remote role is based in Chicago, reporting to the Director of Legal Architecture, and focuses on scaling a high-visibility function across multiple sales segments.

You will hire, coach, and develop the team, set coverage strategy, and manage capacity while staying hands-on with select strategic accounts, marquee product launches, and thought

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent with practising experience.
• Experience leading or managing teams in go-to-market, sales, consulting, or legal tech.
• Customer-facing track record in discovery, live demos, and high-stakes rooms.
• Knowledge of AI in legal drafting, research, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow the team by hiring and developing six Legal Architects.
• Own the coverage model and manage capacity against demand.
• Lead strategic accounts, marquee demos, and product launches.
• Scale enablement with reusable demos, prompt libraries, playbooks and content.
• Be the voice of the lawyer and align with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Enablement.
• Coordinate with Enterprise Legal Architects to share learnings across segments.
