Job summary

Childs-Landscape-Contractors, Inc. is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose, service, and repair a variety of landscape equipment at our Arnold, MD shop.

The role includes performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing engine and electrical issues, and ensuring equipment is ready for crews. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on repair experience, strong inventory control skills, and the ability to lead teams and enforce processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on repair experience with small engines/outdoor power equipment.
• Experience managing inventory or asset-tracking systems.
• Proven leadership with ability to hold crews accountable to processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Office and learning company tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair landscape equipment and mowers.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on engines and components.
• Manage shop loaner program and equipment sign-off process.
• Maintain and audit parts inventory and storage areas.
