Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Site/Civil Project Engineer to support major public and institutional clients from our Fairfax, Virginia office. The position emphasizes civil design, grading, stormwater, drainage, and utility work within a collaborative team. Strong Civil3D, Excel, Word, and documentation skills are essential.

Applicants should have a BS in Civil Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and a PE. Relocation assistance is not offered; EOE.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering or proven equal experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to the design and execution of Civil Infrastructure Projects is required.
• PE required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate all site/civil design aspects.
• Collaborate with Project Manager in a team environment.
• Mentor entry-level staff and interns in Civil3D usage.
• Prepare drawings, plans, specifications, and technical reports; perform analyses, cost estimates, and QA/QC.
