Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team. This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement from one of our offices or remote, reporting to the Site Civil Engineering Team Leader.

Applicants must have a BS in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and a PE license. Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and knowledge in hydraulics/hydrology are preferred, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Hydraulics and hydrology knowledge preferred.
• Strong interest and working knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management.

Responsibilities

• Design site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
• Work with project management teams to identify impediments and develop/implement solutions.
• Perform site due diligence assessments and compile data and reports.
• Perform occasional field work and frequent local travel, and overnight travel, as needed.

Position Overview

Woolpert is hiring a Site Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Land Development team. This position reports to the Site Civil Engineering Team Leader and can work a flexible hybrid out of one our offices or remote.

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

What You Will Do:

Essential Functions

• Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
• Work with project management teams toidentifyimpediments and develop/implement solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Performsite due diligenceassessments and compile data and reports.
• Perform occasional field work and frequent local travel, and overnight travel, as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Experience in hydraulics and hydrology preferred.
• Strong interest and working knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management.
• Proven ability to multitask, appropriately prioritize workflow, and complete tasks.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Pay Range

$75,400 — $126,500 USD
