Partner Equipment Sales is seeking an experienced, hands-on Lead Shop Mechanic – Heavy truck and Equipment to join our Hazleton, PA garage. Knowledge of welding/fabrication and leadership experience are strongly preferred.

As a lead mechanic you will repair and refurbish fleet trucks and equipment, perform mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work, and coordinate fabrication projects with the team while maintaining safety, quality, and timelines.

Formación

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a garage environment.
• Knowledge of trucks and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems preferred.
• Welding experience – would be a plus.
• Own tools required for automotive repair and diagnostics.

Responsabilidades

• Repair and refurbish fleet trucks and equipment for resale.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work with accuracy and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair both major and minor mechanical and electrical issues.
• Communicate with management regarding parts needs, additional repairs, and approvals.
• Collaborate with Fabrication team to develop and fabricate truck bodies, dump beds and other projects for outside customers.
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization, quality, and timelines.
• Provide hands-on support in fabrication and general shop duties as needed.
