Job summary

AtriCure, Inc. in Mason, Ohio is seeking a Lead Shipping Clerk to coordinate all domestic orders and supervise the pick/pack/ship workflow. You will partner with the Distribution Manager and warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory, timely shipments, and compliant documentation.

You will also train staff, lead process improvements, and maintain data integrity in the Oracle system while upholding quality standards and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years leading shipping/warehouse teams or shipping lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Domestic Pick/Pack/Ship area and ensure accuracy of shipments.
• Train staff on inventory system usage and processes.
• Maintain inventory data integrity and support cycle counts.
• Ensure proper shipping documentation and regulatory compliance.

Position Summary

Monday – Friday, 9:00/9:30am – 5:30/6:00pm

This position will be responsible for coordinating all Domestic orders processed through the company. The Lead Shipping Clerk will be a vital liaison between the Distribution Manager & the warehouse team, involved in all components of the shipping department. This person is responsible for leading and coordinating the Domestic Pick/Pack/Ship area, as well as the accuracy of the inventory and transactions within the inventory system. This person will lead and follow all inventory processes and procedures with an emphasis on quality, accuracy, and continuous workflow. This person will be required to participate in all physical inventory activities. This person will also be required to operate a pallet jack and forklift.

Essential Functions Of The Position

• Demonstrates an extremely high level of understanding of the inventory/order processing system in Oracle, UPS WorldShip, and FedEx Ship Manager, with the ability to train less experienced members of the staff
• Lead and apply the research of inaccuracies and suggest corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
• Demonstrates the ability to lead others and work independently and achieve a high level of work volume and accuracy
• Demonstrates an extremely high level of shipping and required documentation knowledge
• Required to be cross trained to the Shipping Clerk description to assist with picking of orders
• Responsible for the integrity of the inventory system data for their assigned areas of responsibility
• Responsibility to maintain records as required by the quality system
• Lead and coordinates with team members to identify and communicate product/material issues and shortages that may disrupt sales orders
• Leads and coordinates the responsibility for the organization and cleanliness of their assigned inventory areas
• Leads and coordinates improving processes throughout the department and willingness to teach others

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• 3-year knowledge of AtriCure products and related technical information or 3+ years of experience in a shipping lead, shipping supervisor, or similar warehouse leadership role.
• Great computer/data entry skills
• Exceptional organizational and verbal communication skills
• Extremely detail-oriented and able to multi-task
• Maintains professional interactions with customers and employees
• Seeks out opportunities to learn new skills and acquire information

Preferred Qualifications

• FedEx and/or UPS shipping experience
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• 3 years’ experience working with inventory and making transactions in Oracle
• Proficient knowledge of cGMP and ISO standards

• Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
