B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Sheet Metal Supervisor in Florida to lead Foremen, Journeymen and Apprentices on large-scale commercial sheet metal systems. The role requires strong code knowledge, blueprint interpretation, and procurement coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices on sheet metal installations.
• Strong knowledge of SMACNA, Florida Building, and AHCA codes.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, submittals, and job orders accurately.
• Experience with procurement planning, safety compliance, and HR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate sheet metal work for Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, submittals, and job orders.
• Assemble procurement orders for materials, equipment, and tools.
• Set work sequences to meet construction schedules and optimize manpower.
• Evaluate workers and place them on the most productive assignments.
• Monitor time records and assist with cost estimates for contracts.
• Enforce safety regulations and conduct timely performance appraisals.
