Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Sheet Metal Superintendent to provide overall direction for field installation on assigned projects, own direct responsibility for field labor, labor coordination, quality control and safety on site. You will represent the company on the project site and ensure installation meets the contracted scope and design intent.

Responsibilities include plan-reading, coordination, layout, materials take-off, and managing crews, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have experience managing 5 or more crews of 2-3 workers each.
• Must have verifiable experience on projects of $500K or more.
• Minimum of 3 years craft supervision experience in similar facility construction.
• Advanced knowledge of how jobs are assembled in the field.
• Ability to manage to budget, schedule, and safety while meeting deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication and strong multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to project meetings.
• Plan-reading, coordination, layout, sketching and take-off.
• Material, tool and equipment handling including ordering and receiving.
• Contracts scope delineations; ensure drawings meet contract scope.
• Responds to general contractor requests within scope limits.
• Manage trades stacking, phasing, and scheduling.
• Manpower loading and two week look-ahead scheduling.
• Time keeping and daily reports, submittal log, RFI tracking.
• Ensure safety and company programs are implemented.
• Building code compliance and cost forecasting with project team.
• Quality control and project delivery.
