Job summary

RQ, LLC is seeking a Sheet Metal Trade Foreman for the Naval Submarine Station Kings Bay project. The role involves daily supervision of sheet metal crews on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while meeting project requirements and budget.

The candidate will work within a full-service Design-Build company that values safety, ethics, innovation, people, teamwork and discipline, and will coordinate with the field operations team across DoD and large commercial projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in construction management or engineering preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Foreman supervising the sheet metal trade on medium or large projects.
• Minimum three (3) years of field or trade experience in construction; government, military, or large commercial project experience preferred.
• Design-build experience desirable.
• Experience fabricating sheet metal in various shapes for industrial or commercial-scale projects preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook required; training available for Primavera, Oracle, BIM, and Revit/Autodesk.
• CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications required (training available).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and coordinate assigned sheet metal crews on the jobsite.
• Safely produce quality work within project requirements, budget, and schedule.
