Job summary

Structured Trades in Austin is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to oversee commercial HVAC projects. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of recent foreman experience directing HVAC crews in commercial environments.

Responsibilities include supervising HVAC workers, scheduling work, maintaining budget adherence, reporting progress, coordinating between crews and supervisors, enforcing safety, and conducting quality checks on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish will be a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with commercial new construction and remodeling.
• Knowledge of commercial heating and air conditioning.

Responsibilities

• Supervises HVAC workers
• Develop work schedules
• Ensure project are at or under budget
• Report project progress to superiors
• Be a liaison between construction workers and supervisors
• Ensure workers are using safety practices
• Perform quality checks
