Lead Service Technician (Solace at Ballpark Village)

As a Lead Service Technician, you will work at one of our communities, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the physical asset and community grounds.

You're Excited About This Role Because You Will:

  • Assist in completing make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintain an adequate supply of these units.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair minor issues with air conditioning, heating, appliances, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall.
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
  • Conduct daily pool maintenance, ensuring proper chemical balance and safety.
  • Perform minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys.
  • Inspect the property for safety hazards, correct them, and inform the Manager of Facilities and Service.
  • Share on-call duties with team members, be available to respond to emergencies, and wear appropriate uniform/badge.
  • Monitor inventory of parts and supplies.
  • Train and mentor other Service and Facilities Technicians.

  • Expertise in Plumbing, Electrical, Pool Maintenance, HVAC, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Appliances, and OSHA standards.
  • One or more industry-specific certifications (EPA, HVAC, CPO, or similar).
  • Service-oriented attitude.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an apartment maintenance or make-ready technician.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.

The starting hourly pay range for Lead Service Technicians is $26.00, based on experience and community complexity. The schedule may include weekends, and participation in a rotating on-call schedule with additional pay is required.
