Job summary

Battle Mountain Point S is seeking a Lead Automotive Technician to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot vehicles while ensuring safety and performance. You will guide junior technicians and advise customers on maintenance and parts selection based on vehicle needs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 3+ years of automotive service experience.
  • Technical or vocational training in automotive repair.
  • Willingness to pursue TIA certification with company support and assistance.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Physical Fitness: ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform demanding tasks.
  • Manual Dexterity: skill with tools and precise hand tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: precise inspection and repair with safety.
  • Customer Service Skills: explain technical aspects clearly to customers.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: diagnose issues and determine repair course.
  • Teamwork: work well in a cooperative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual inspections of vehicles for wear or damage.
  • Perform vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
  • Assist in training junior technicians.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents.
  • Use proper equipment to flush fluids (coolant, brake, transmission).
  • Apply lubricants to vehicle components as needed.
  • Complete mandatory vehicle inspection forms.
  • Communicate repair recommendations to service advisor.

Job Summary

As a Lead Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of vehicle repairs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of various types of vehicles by providing expert services. The Lead Automotive Technicians also advise customers on proper vehicle maintenance and selection based on their specific vehicle needs. As a Lead Automotive Technician, you must be confident and capable of performing vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the training of junior -level technicians
