Job summary

Wheaton Bible Church seeks a skilled Worship Production Lead to oversee service producers across all services, ensuring parity, timing, and engaging content. This role partners with the Teaching team, Communications, and the Production Director to deliver excellent worship experiences.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of relevant experience, proficiency with Pro Presenter and Adobe Creative Cloud, and the ability to lead volunteers and freelancers in a fast-paced ministry setting in West

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Core software.
• Experience supervising & leading a team a plus.
• Fluency on Mac and PC operating systems.
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities in a high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of production equipment including lights, sound, and video.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of service producers throughout all Wheaton Bible Church services.
• Collaborate with the Teaching team to tailor service content for each worship space.
• Ensure parity and timing between all simultaneous services.
• Coordinate with Communications to provide worship spaces with content.
• Work with Production Director to maintain high-level production excellence.
• Contribute to planning and organization within Worship and Creative Arts systems.

Job description

Wheaton Bible Church (WBC) is a dynamic, thriving multiethnic church community seeking to live out our mission toLove God, Love One Another, Love our Neighbors, and Love the Nationsin the Chicago suburbs and globally with our 90+ sent missionaries and indigenous partners. We currently hold worship services in both English and Spanish while providing space, care, and leadership coaching for 5 additional ethnic language fellowship groups. Additionally, we serve our local community through West Chicago’s largest social service provider Puente de Pueblo by providing case management services for families, adult literacy programming, and after-school programming for children and youth.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead a team of service producers throughout all of Wheaton Bible Church’s services.
• Work closely with the Teaching team to understand the context of each worship space and to provide all worship spaces with necessary Service content.
• Ensure Parity and Timing between all simultaneous services.
• Work closely with communications team to provide all worship spaces with necessary Service content.
• Work with Production Director to ensure all services are operating at the level of excellence befitting of their individual contexts.
• Work within the Worship and Creative Arts Systems to keep the team ahead in planning and organization.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Core software
• Pro Presenter, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Pro Tools, or other similar programs.
• Fluency on both Mac and PC operating systems.
• Flexibility in scheduled work hours based upon seasonal needs and expectations.
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities and demands in a sensitive high-pressure environment
• Experience Supervising & Leading a Team a plus
• Knowledge of production equipment including lights, sound, and video.
• Ability to manage a team of volunteers and freelance professionals to best complete all projects within given deadlines.
