MassAbility is seeking a Principal Service Designer to transform how services are delivered to people with disabilities. You will lead the design efforts, envision end-to-end experiences, and drive a constituent-centered service design mindset across MassAbility teams and partners.

The role requires 8-10 years in service design, strong facilitation and storytelling skills, and a track record of mentoring teams in agile environments. Hybrid work with occasional travel to Area Offices is expected.

Qualifikationen

• 8-10 years of professional experience in service design and digital product design.
• 5+ years leading service design in agile cross-functional environments.
• 3+ years in complex government environments (or similar).

• Envision end-to-end experiences blending digital and in-person touchpoints.
• Transform service delivery to improve constituent experiences.
• Create service design artifacts like future-state blueprints and journey maps.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, researchers, engineers and partners.
• Contribute to roadmap development and future-state service vision.
• Mentor others and promote constituent-centered service design practices.
• Connect research to service, process, and technology decisions.
