Role Overview

Qualcomm Data Center team is developing high‑performance, energy‑efficient server solutions for data center applications. We are looking for a highly experienced Server Product Architect to define the architecture of a Server SoC that meets critical KPIs for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with chip and platform architects to define and develop product and SoC architecture
• Develop server roadmap and feature set across one or more architecture domains
• Analytical modeling of key server KPIs for performance, power, area, cost, RAS, etc.
• Create detailed architecture specification documents
• Maintain strong communication skills and work effectively in a dynamic environment with senior engineers and technologists

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 10+ years of hardware, software, electrical, or systems engineering experience
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 9+ years of hardware, software, electrical, or systems engineering experience
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of hardware, software, electrical, or systems engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 15 years of semiconductor product development experience (e.g., system design, SoC architecture, HW design and validation, silicon test, SW development)
• Over 15 years of experience in CPU and/or SoC architecture, with at least 7 years on a high‑performance server chip
• Strong expertise across multiple server SoC architecture domains including coherency management, memory system, IO architecture, power management, and security
• Ability to make PPA, cost, feature, and schedule trade‑offs to define product architecture
• Strong fundamentals in digital ASIC design and CMOS circuit power
• Excellent technical documentation, written, and verbal communication skills
• Deep understanding of CPU architecture and KPIs for leadership server products
• Experience commercializing server products and influencing next‑generation architectures
• Experience architecting products using chiplets and various package integration technologies
• Experience with RAS, debug, and test architecture for datacenter products
• Experience with ARM architecture including server architectures is a plus
• Track record delivering hyperscale data center solutions

Pay & Benefits

Pay range: $284,900.00 – $427,300.00. Additional compensation includes a competitive discretionary bonus program and RSU grants. Benefits package supports success at work, home, and play.
