Blakehurst is a Life Plan Community in Towson, MD, seeking a Full-Time Lead Server to support the Dining Room Manager in coordinating, seating and maintaining the dining area and server stations. The role emphasizes courteous, efficient service for residents and guests.

You will work a full-time schedule, five days a week, including every other weekend, with a pay range of $17.75–$19.75 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, 401(k), scholarships, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Two years’ server experience in restaurant, club, hotel or similar is preferred.
• Ability to interpret and explain menu and coordinate meal service.
• Strong communication with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Pre-employment screening including background check and drug test as required.

Responsabilités

• Supervise dining room appearance and server stations in absence of Dining Room Manager.
• Coordinate seating of residents and guests efficiently and courteously.
• Schedule stations and assignments for wait staff; ensure standards are met.
• Display and distribute menu specials as needed.
• Record reservations and additional charges.
• Conduct pre-meal meetings with wait staff.
• Consult with Dining Room Manager on dining room status.
• Coordinate setup, breakdown and functions for smooth operations.
