Akamai is seeking a Security Architect Senior Lead to assess cloud, network, infrastructure, and application designs against security and compliance requirements, translating them into technical specifications, security blueprints, and engineering guardrails.
You will collaborate with engineering and InfoSec to investigate security risks, support compliance programs and audits, and push adoption of robust controls through AI and automation across distributed systems.

Our team works with engineering, product, and security teams to assess controls against security standards. Our mission is to improve Akamai's overall security posture and that of our customers. The team supports compliance programs and works with auditors and stakeholders to demonstrate how Akamai secures its infrastructure and products.
You will evaluate the security of Akamai's distributed network and products, guide technical control design, and support security programs with a focus on information security compliance.

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $169,300 - $304,700/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary.
The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
