Position

Boeing is seeking to hire Lead, Senior or Experienced Electronic Systems Design, Integration, Analysis, and Test Engineers for current and emerging programs across the St. Louis region, including Berkeley, MO, Hazelwood, MO, St. Charles, MO, and Mascoutah, IL. You’ll own or lead design and test aircraft electronic/electrical systems used on fighters, trainers, unmanned systems and weapon systems. You will translate customer requirements into architectures, define verification strategies, and help solve real-world integration problems from lab to flight. This position spans the technology development life cycle, including requirements generation, system design and implementation, integration, and test.

Position Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements decomposition and traceability from customer need to testable design
  • Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements per contract and customer feedback
  • Design hardware, software, and interface specifications
  • Apply job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts
  • Develop statements of work and technical performance specifications
  • Translate customer requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs with traceability across the product lifecycle
  • Define test and validation approaches to ensure designs meet operational and functional requirements
  • Troubleshoot integration and sustainment issues across hardware/software lifecycles
  • Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integrity and requirements compliance
  • Coordinate suppliers, test labs, and cross-discipline engineering to deliver on schedule and within cost
  • Resolve problems with fielded hardware and software across the product lifecycle
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements and technical standards
Travel and Clearance

This position is expected to be 100% onsite at listed locations. Some programs may require domestic and/or international travel. The ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required. A final or interim clearance may be required post-start. Some programs may require Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

Summary pay range: Level 3: 112,200 – 151,800; Level 4: 136,850 – 185,150. Boeing provides eligible employees with a variety of benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time away from work. The specific programs vary by location and eligibility.

Basic Qualifications (Required)
