Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Estimator – Residential in Columbus, OH to lead the full estimating lifecycle for large multi-family, HUD, OFHA, and senior housing projects. You will manage estimates, drive subcontractor engagement, and present cost data to clients.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years of experience in estimating for large residential projects, with HUD/OFHA guidelines familiarity, and strong communication skills to build enduring client relationships.

Qualifications

4 to 7 years of estimating experience focused on large multi-family residential, apartments, and senior housing.
Specific experience with HUD and OFHA estimating guidelines.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills to drive subcontractor engagement and client trust.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Estimating: Lead and complete full project estimates; review others' estimates.
Bidding & Scoping: Set up qualified subcontractor bid lists and analyze bids.
Takeoffs & Pricing: Perform detailed takeoffs using current market/unit pricing.
Value Engineering: Research materials and develop cost-saving ideas.
Preconstruction Planning: Develop preliminary schedules and staffing plans.
Client & Partner Relations: Present cost data to clients and build relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
