Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking an exceptional Seeker Responsible Engineer to lead the technical development and integration of seeker sensor systems for a critical spacecraft program. You will own the full signal chain from optical collection through image processing and ensure a coherent, mission-ready design across hardware, software, and test disciplines.

You will bring deep expertise across the EO spectrum from VNIR through LWIR, perform radiometric budgeting, and lead requirements, coordination,

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in EO systems across VNIR–LWIR.
• Experience owning requirements and verification for a complex EO system.
• Proficient in radiometric budgeting and model-based testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Responsible Engineer for the seeker sensor system and drive technical direction.
• Decompose system requirements into subsystem specs with traceability.
• Coordinate optical, detector, electronics, firmware, and software teams.
• Apply radiometric budgeting and validate performance against mission needs.
• Develop calibration methods and CONOPS for on-orbit reliability.
• Support model-based testing and image-processing algorithm development.
• Plan and execute integration, tests, and qualification campaigns.
• Document specifications, interfaces, analysis reports, and test plans.
• Present status and results to customers and stakeholders at reviews.
• Collaborate with EO Systems Engineering Manager and Payloads team.
