Job summary

Klaviyo is seeking a Lead Security Trust & Compliance Engineer to own multiple Trust & Compliance programs, including audits, policy development, and control design. You will lead strategy, coordinate audits end to end, and guide teams to raise the security bar across modern SaaS platforms.

This role emphasizes security automation, risk analysis, and measurable program KPIs. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement controls, monitor health metrics, and evolve compliance programs in

Qualifications

Experience leading security and privacy compliance programs end to end.
Ability to write precise policies and ownership of reviews/ exceptions.
Experience with security automation and AI-enabled tooling.

Responsibilities

Own internal and external audits end to end, interfacing with auditors.
Define strategy to close gaps against frameworks and drive certification efforts.
Own security policies, standards, and procedures; decompose into testable requirements.
Define control design for net-new controls and guide partner teams.
Define security health metrics and build pipelines to monitor them.
Automate Trust & Compliance workflows including testing, monitoring, evidence collection, and identity governance.
Identify risks and propose plans to address them.
