Job summary

Toyota Tsusho Systems US, Inc. in Plano, TX, is seeking a Senior Automation & Cybersecurity Engineer to design, build, and scale automation for the Security Operations Center (SOC).

You will own automated detection, enrichment, triage, response, and AI-assisted workflows, partnering with detection engineers, incident responders, analysts, and platform owners to convert repeatable processes into reliable automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience designing and implementing automation for security operations.
• Strong scripting and integration capabilities with cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation for alert enrichment, correlation, triage, incident response, and case handoffs across SIEM/SOAR platforms.
• Develop integrations and tooling using Python, PowerShell, APIs, and cloud-native services with production-grade error handling.
• Collaborate with detection engineers, incident responders, and SOC analysts to improve detection and response workflows.
• Design AI-assisted and agentic workflows with human-in-the-loop approvals and auditable processes.
• Mentor teammates and establish reusable automation standards and patterns.
