Job Title - Lead Search Platform Engineer (ELK)

Location - 4-days Hybrid, Mon-Thur in Rocklin, CA (

Lead Search Platform Engineer (ELK)

On-site Hybrid 4 days, Rocklin, CA (NOW OPEN TO RELOCATION)

* Sr. Systems Engineer will own the physical technology infrastructure inside data centers and other enterprise technology spaces.

*UPDATEs* - The biggest need is someone who is expert in OpenSearch or Elasticsearch they will have significant ownership over the production search environment-from architecture and cluster maintenance to monitoring, troubleshooting, scaling and performance optimization. There's also a growing AI component, need someone who understands modern LLM environments and experience standing up AI environments rather than simply using AI tools

Project Description

Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

Duties/Day to Day Overview

Production support LARGE search environment

o Maintenance, visualizations, working cross functionally with ecomm and other teams

• • Adding to clusters, breaking them out
• Innovate in ProdOps every single day

Work closely with many teams across the org in order to improve search breaking out clusters and constantly making improvements.

Authors, reviews and approves technical designs

Mastery of domain programming language

Engineers extensible solutions with the team in mind and can fix complex bugs

Reviews code to ensure it is functionally correct and consistent with the technical design

Accountable for domain dependencies and critical paths

Accountable for complex stories and integration or business requirements

Top Requirements

(Must haves)

DEEP knowledge of Opensearch/Elasticsearch

• Will not be able to train them up must come in with all experience and ready to dive in.
• Years of experience isn't the biggest issues as long as they have the Open/Elastic Search background
