Job summary

TCG Labs-Soleil is seeking a Senior Scientist in Antibody Engineering to lead display-based antibody engineering and integrate AI-driven design with experimental validation. You will build and screen libraries (phage/yeast/mammalian) and collaborate with analytics, protein sciences, and in vitro teams to accelerate discovery and maturation of therapeutic antibodies.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with 5+ years postdoc or industry experience or M.S. with 10+ years industry experience in antibody discovery/engineering.
• Deep expertise in in vitro antibody discovery platforms including library construction and phage display.
• Experience designing and curating large antibody display libraries with AI/bioinformatics filtering.
• Proven ability to translate wet-lab results to in silico designs and refine computational models.
• Confident Python programming and Linux proficiency.
• Familiarity with structure prediction tools (AlphaFold/Rosetta) for collaboration with engineers.
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and project management in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and oral communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize display-based antibody engineering strategies (humanization, affinity maturation, bispecific formats).
• Design, construct, and screen antibody libraries using AI and computational tools.
• Lead in silico designs and translate outputs into library construction and screening.
• Evaluate cutting-edge display technologies (phage, yeast, mammalian) for discovery.
• Collaborate with protein sciences, analytics, and in vitro teams to integrate design with experiments.
• Stay current with trends in antibody engineering and computational protein design.
• Troubleshoot complex challenges in antibody discovery and characterization.
• Design and analyze experiments to deliver data-driven pipeline decisions.
