Job summary

Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC is seeking a Scientific Staff scientist to lead the optimization of two upcoming aberration-corrected STEMs at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years post-Ph.D. experience in research.
• Demonstrated high-impact research using aberration-corrected STEM and EELS.
• Active membership in microscopy and materials science societies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commissioning and operation of two new STEMs.
• Conduct independent nanoscience research and publish papers.
• Manage user program, including proposal review and user support.
