Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain NY RN license.
• Experience with children with disabilities beneficial but not required.
• School health experience with school-aged/pre-school students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess health concerns and administer care for students with special health needs.
• Manage emergencies and urgent situations.
• Conduct mandated health screenings, verify immunizations, and monitor infectious diseases.
• Identify and manage chronic health needs affecting learning; maintain documentation.
• Coordinate health policies and provide staff in-services as needed.
