Job summary

Enviro Clean, Inc. is seeking a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician – Schools in Dearborn Heights, MI.

The role involves hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and supervision of a crew at Westwood Community School District to keep school buildings safe and functional. The ideal candidate will perform preventive maintenance, operate in indoor and outdoor environments, and manage tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry with a focus on reliability and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in building or facilities maintenance, including related skilled trades.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills essential.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and building repairs.
• Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
• Comfort with lifting and moving equipment as required."
• Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the crew to complete daily maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Serve as a resource for team members and help troubleshoot issues.
• Climb ladders for maintenance tasks.
• Perform lawn care and snow removal as needed.
• Replace ceiling tiles and light fixtures.
• Do basic painting and drywall repairs.
• Maintain HVAC systems including filters and motor upkeep.
• Carry out general equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Perform routine housekeeping and other assigned duties.
