Elior School Dining is seeking a Lead Food Service Worker to join the team in Dolton West SD #148. You will lead onsite daily operations, ensuring quality food preparation and service while directing staff and maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, ServSafe certification, and at least one year in foodservice, with the potential for growth in a unionized, full-time school dining environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• ServSafe certification.
• At least one year's experience in a foodservice role.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operation onsite by ensuring quality food preparation and service.
• Direct food service staff and operations to ensure a successful meal service.
• Order food and paper products as needed.
• Ensure sanitation and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Train new staff members as needed.
