GRBS, Inc. is seeking a Custodian School Build Lead for Byron Center Public Schools to join the team on a full-time, 2nd shift basis at Byron Center Middle School.

You will lead custodial activities for school build projects and daily operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The role requires reliability, ability to work independently, and strong customer service, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding custodial tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate custodial activities for school build projects and daily operations.
• Perform general custodial duties: cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly conditions across assigned areas.
• Collaborate with staff to meet facility needs and schedules.
• Operate custodial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff, students, and visitors.
