Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required by Kentucky law.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain security and proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial tasks at an assigned school site to keep buildings, locker rooms and adjacent grounds clean, orderly and secure.
• Clean classrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, offices and related facilities; sweep, mop and maintain gym floors.
• Report safety, sanitary and maintenance issues to supervisor; monitor for unauthorized individuals and secure facilities.
• Order supplies per established guidelines and manage basic inventory.
• Operate cleaning equipment (vacuum, buffer, carpet shampooer, scrubbers, etc.) as assigned and assist with special events.
