Job summary

Kid Works in Fairfield, OH (BrightPath Kids/Busy Bees) is seeking a Lead Teacher to work alongside teachers and families, providing a home away from home for children aged 6 weeks through 12 years, in accordance with NAEYC guidelines.

You will design developmentally appropriate curricula, curate engaging activities, maintain a warm, safe environment, partner with families on care plans, and communicate with parents.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or CDA or Level 3 or Bachelor's degree required/preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years in one classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum per NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe environment that supports growth and exploration.
• Partner with families to develop care and education plans for children.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians.
