Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Project Controls Lead Analyst - Oil & Gas Scheduler to join our Overland Park, KS team and other locations. This employee-owned company offers a collaborative environment and opportunities to lead scheduling on complex projects.

You will supervise project controls staff, hire and develop talent, and apply advanced scheduling know-how including Primavera P6 to ensure delivery across oil and gas initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years cost control or scheduling experience.
• Master’s degree or local equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
• Strong Primavera P6 scheduling knowledge and leadership abilities.
• Experience leading project controls on medium to large EPC projects in home office/field.
• Background check/drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Leads planning and schedule preparation on complex projects including startup planning.
• Addresses contractual requirements related to schedule control.
• Expert in scheduling forensics as required by the business unit.
• Leads project controls team; collaborates with PM leadership; identifies process improvements.
• Develops tools, systems and processes to optimize effectiveness.
