Conditions. Workplace Diversity, LLC. is seeking a Technical Director for The American Repertory Theater in Cambridge. This role involves directing all aspects of scenery, rigging, and automation for productions, ensuring an inclusive and safe environment for staff and artists.

The successful candidate will collaborate with scenic designers and oversee budgets while promoting the mission and values of A.R.T. Knowledge of AutoCAD and experience with scenic automation are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD or similar programs.
• Hands‑on experience with scenic automation.
• Experience with safe, industry standard rigging practices.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of scenery, rigging, and automation in productions.
• Promote an inclusive work environment for staff and artists.
• Manage production planning and budgeting.

Skills

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD or similar programs
