Job summary

Universal Destinations & Experiences in Las Vegas is seeking a Scenic Décor & Props Team Lead to direct and coordinate maintenance, installations, and strikes for new design elements. You will oversee shifts, ensure high-quality appearance, and support Technical & Show Management and compliance requirements.

The role requires 3+ years in scenic décor or related field, strong leadership and communication skills, and OSHA 10 as well as LVMPD work card eligibility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the scenic décor, set dressing, props, or event installation.
• Strong ability to work in a team environment and provide work direction.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
• Able to obtain LVMPD Non-Gaming Work card

Responsibilities

• Plan and delegate tasks to Technical & Show Team Members and communicate performance expectations.
• Reinforce safety guidelines and monitor productivity & collaboration with other departments.
• Document work in Maximo and coordinate design changes with management.
• Coordinate information flow within Technical & Show operations and with other departments.
• Support training for new Team Members and manage training shifts.
• Maintain knowledge of tool and metalworking methods and perform Technician duties as needed.
