Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder Leadman for the Olin site in Plaquemine, LA. You will supervise construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding and other temporary structures, ensuring safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has NCCER Scaffold certification, a valid driver’s license, a TWIC card, and at least 4 years of journeyman-level experience. Must be able to work on-site, at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• NCCER Scaffold certification, valid driver’s license, and TWIC card are required.
• Experience: 4 years of journeyman-level experience.
• Able to read and follow safety procedures and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
• Instruct on proper scaffold installation and ensure safe erection.
• Oversee transport and erection of scaffolding materials and secure to structures.
• Inspect scaffolding and ensure proper stowage after dismantling.
• Comply with OSHA and site-specific requirements; ensure safety and productivity.
