Job summary

Aurex, based on the West Coast with an on-site requirement at Los Angeles AFB, seeks a Systems Test Engineer to lead a test team for strategic SATCOM initiatives. You will verify and validate complex space, ground, and cryptographic systems and drive test artifacts from concept through system-integration.

Applicants must have DoD TS/SCI clearance, a technical degree, and 12+ years in defense acquisition test programs, with strong collaboration and written/test documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in test, verification, and system integration for major defense programs.
• Experience with government DT&E programs within a Lead Developmental Test Organization.
• Ability to translate requirements into test objectives, procedures and verification evidence.

Responsibilities

• Lead test, verification, validation, and system integration activities for strategic SATCOM capabilities.
• Plan, execute, analyze, and report on developmental test and evaluation activities.
• Translate system requirements into test objectives, procedures, acceptance criteria, and evidence.
• Support Test Readiness Reviews, system-of-systems testing, and space-to-ground integration testing.
• Develop Test and Evaluation Master Plans, System Test Plans, and verification reports.
• Identify test deficiencies and mitigate issues early in development.
• Collaborate with government clients, FFRDCs, and contractor teams to meet goals.
