Job summary

Amazon is planning a greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation to connect finance, accounting, supply chain, procurement, and shop floor into a single digital thread. You will design and deliver an ERP with a clean-core approach and standard-first configuration that scales with the business.

You will lead end-to-end SAP supply chain architecture, collaborate with cross-functional leaders, and own integration design across MES, PLM, and data lake.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs (S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects).
• Experience with end-user or developer communities and managing relationships with SAP customers and partners.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private.
• Experience in SAP clean-core design concepts, including design and build using non-SAP technologies in domains such as Generative/Agentic AI and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the SAP supply chain domains on S/4HANA, translating manufacturing and supply-chain requirements into a scalable design.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations leaders to translate requirements into SAP configuration and data models.
• Own the integration architecture connecting SAP to MES, PLM, BOM and data lake, and manage the digital thread from engineering to fulfillment.
• Define the supply-chain master-data model (materials, BOMs, routings, suppliers, locations) and governance across SAP and connected systems.
• Lead SAP standard-versus-custom decisions, favoring configuration and clean-core extensions on BTP, and evaluate system-integrator proposals.
• Serve as senior technical authority for SAP supply chain through design reviews, prototypes, and mentoring junior architects.
