Business: Honeywell Technologies

Join the Team That Helps Customers Make Critical Decisions When Every Second Counts

At Honeywell, we're building technology that helps organizations respond faster, coordinate resources more effectively, and make better decisions during high-consequence events. We are seeking a high-performing software sales professional who understands both the commercial side of enterprise software and the realities of incident command in critical environments.

This is not a typical software sales role.

We are looking for someone who has firsthand experience operating in emergency response, public safety, crisis management, military operations, industrial incident response, emergency management, or a similar command-and-control environment. You understand the pressure of making decisions when lives, assets, operations, and reputations are on the line. You can translate those experiences into meaningful conversations with customers seeking modern incident command and operational resilience solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new software orders and revenue growth across assigned territories and strategic accounts.

  • Sell enterprise SaaS and platform solutions focused on incident management, crisis response, situational awareness, operational resilience, and command-and-control workflows.

  • Build executive relationships with public sector, critical infrastructure, industrial, transportation, utility, and emergency management customers.

  • Lead complex sales cycles from discovery through contract execution.

  • Develop compelling business cases that demonstrate operational, financial, and safety outcomes.

  • Collaborate with solution consultants, product teams, and customer success organizations to deliver customer value.

  • Leverage personal incident management experience to build credibility with operational leaders and emergency response stakeholders.

  • Represent Honeywell at industry conferences, emergency management events, and customer workshops.

  • Maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline, monthly forecast, and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 3+ years of enterprise software, SaaS, or technology sales experience.

  • Demonstrated success managing complex B2B sales opportunities.

  • Experience selling into government, public safety, defense, utilities, transportation, energy, manufacturing, healthcare, or critical infrastructure organizations.

  • Strong executive presence and consultative selling capabilities.

  • Ability to communicate both technical and business value to diverse stakeholders.

WE VALUE

We are particularly interested in candidates who have served in roles such as:

  • Incident Commander

  • Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Leader

  • Fire Service Officer

  • Emergency Management Professional

  • Military Command and Control Operator

  • Public Safety Leader

  • Crisis Management Coordinator

  • Industrial Emergency Response Leader

  • Critical Infrastructure Operations Leader

Candidates who have personally managed emergency incidents, disaster response efforts, major operational disruptions, public safety events, or crisis situations will stand out.

Bonus Qualifications
  • Prior experience selling incident command, emergency management, situational awareness, crisis management, mass notification, or command-and-control software.

  • Experience with platforms used for emergency response, operational resilience, risk management, or critical event management.

  • Knowledge of ICS (Incident Command System), NIMS, emergency operations planning, or crisis response frameworks.

  • Experience selling software subscriptions, enterprise licenses, or recurring revenue offerings.

  • Familiarity with GIS, sensor integration, operational technology (OT), public safety technology, or industrial software ecosystems.

Success in This Role

The ideal candidate combines the credibility of someone who has worked through real emergencies with the commercial mindset of a top-performing software seller. Customers will trust you because you've experienced the challenges they face, and they'll buy from you because you can clearly articulate how technology helps improve outcomes during critical events.

Why Honeywell
  • Opportunity to shape the future of critical operations technology.
  • Access to industry-leading digital and software solutions.
  • Competitive compensation with uncapped earning potential.
  • Comprehensive benefits beginning on day one.
  • Career growth within a global technology leader.
  • The chance to help organizations protect people, operations, and communities.
