Job summary

Dollar General Corporation in Lancaster, PA is seeking a hardworking Cashier/Stocker to support store operations and customer service. You will unload shipments, stock shelves, operate the cash register, and assist in maintaining plan-o-grams and displays.

In this role you lead in the absence of store leadership and ensure accuracy in cash handling and safety procedures. A high school diploma and basic supervisory exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and unpack cartons according to store process.
• Stock merchandise, rotate and face shelves, build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and collect payment, bag items.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment and assist with plan-o-gram
• Provide excellent customer service and lead in absence of managers.
• Ensure cashier accountability and adhere to security practices.
