Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to enhance the shopping experience in a fast-paced store. You will help customers locate and purchase items, operate the register, stock merchandise, and maintain a clean, organized environment.

You assist in the absence of the Store Manager, stepping into leadership duties as needed. Responsibilities include supervising basic tasks, training teammates, and ensuring planograms are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months supervisory experience or related training preferred.
• Experience in customer service and cash handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and greet customers.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, collect payment, and bag merchandise.
• Receive, unpack, stock, and rotate merchandise; assist in displays.
• Clean store and assist with sidewalk displays.
• Assist in planogram implementation and maintenance.
• Open/close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
